Energy problems and policy proposals remain in the news; sometimes the news is good, other times it seems headed in the wrong direction. This seminar will take a look at the he underlying nature of the problems around energy policy, and at some behavioral approaches to addressing them. The talk will give particular attention to the "low-hanging fruit" associated with energy efficiency. Why has the long-hanging fruit not been picked and eaten? Is it really so low-hanging? If not, what can we do to move toward more energy efficiency?
