The Macintosh
is no longer a supported platform at SLAC. Please contact your local
administrators for migrating existing Macintosh users to Windows or
Linux desktop
systems.
New Macintosh systems should not be purchased. Any exceptions need signature approval from the Director of the Division. SCCS no longer maintains Macintosh software. The departments and users are responsible for the total cost of maintaining the Macintosh, keeping up with anti-virus software, etc. |
