Calendar Permissions

Granting Others Permission to View (Read) your Calendar
In your folder list:
 
  • Right click on your default Calendar (the one which came with Outlook -- this is the only Calendar which other people are going to be able to see);
  • Select Properties;
  • Permissions tab;
  • Press Add button;
  • In the "Type Name or Select from List" box type the last name of the person;
  • Click the Add button;
  • Click OK;
  • You will now select the correct level of access to give the person; you should select "Reviewer" for READ access.    
  • Press OK.
While you are here, verify that Default has the Permissions Level of "Free/Busy Time".  This will allow everyone else at SLAC which uses Outlook to see your free/busy availability time when trying to schedule a meeting with you.
