Email Server Names

Exchange 2003 - IMAP/POP Server

The Exchange IMAP/POP server name is: exch-roam.slac.stanford.edu

If you are going to use a POP or IMAP client to read e-mail from Exchange server you must configure your client to use SSL for the incoming e-mail connection.

POP port=995

IMAP port=993

Exchange 2007 - IMAP/POP Server

The Exchange IMAP/POP server name is: email.slac.stanford.edu

If you are going to use a POP or IMAP client to read e-mail from Exchange server you must configure your client to use SSL for the incoming e-mail connection.

POP port=995

IMAP port=993

SMTP Server

All SLAC users can use smtpserv.slac.stanford.edu or smtp.slac.stanford.edu as the outgoing (SMTP) server. This server does not use SSL or a userid. Port=25
