Configuring Windows XP for DHCP

With desktop set to the
Windows XP Style
From the
Start
menu click
Control Panel.
In the Control Panel click on
Network and Internet Connections.
Click
Network Connections.
Click the connection you want to configure, in this case
Local Area Connection
.
Click
Change settings of this connection
.
Select
Internet Protocol(TCP/IP).
Select the
Properties
button.
Select the buttons
Obtain an IP address automatically
and
Obtain DSN server address automatically
Click the
OK
button on the next two windows to bring you back to the
Network Connections
window.
Quit out of the
Network Connections
window.
