Locate the  DSL providers in your area  that can really bring DSL or cable service to your home. One source of providers is www.2wire.com.  Complete the information on the SearchForm for at least 2 or 3 providers, stating your order of preference.  Use the comment section for extra information.

The information on the form will be sent to Purchasing who will in turn contact the DSL providers and work with them to arrange for an installation. You will be notified of the results.

  • Name of  the DSL provider
    e.g. PacBell, Flashcom, Earthlink, etc
  • Name and  phone number of  the person you talked to
  • URL or their web page
  • Can they give you a real installation date you can live with
    It should be no more then 30 days from the time the order is received
  • Do you have to sign up for a fixed term  
    e.g. 6 months or 1 year
  •  
  • Installation / equipment cost
    e.g. $300.00 should be the high limit
  • Monthly service charge
    e.g. $60.00 should be the high limit
  • Number of  IP addresses
    e.g. normally 1 or 5
  • Are the IP address fixed or dynamic
  • What is the download or downstream speed
    e.g. 384K-1.5M
  • What is the upload or upstream speed
    e.g. 128K or 384K
  • Number of e-mail accounts
    e.g. normally 1 per IP address
