Alpha-Numeric Paging Services at SLAC
SLAC currently supports the Verizon Advisor pager. We are also beta testing
the new 2-way pagers for computing support personnel. If you are computing
support personnel, you may want to upgrade to a 2-way
pager and test out its capabilities.
To obtain a new pager, exchange a broken pager, or change your service
type, complete the online Pager Request
Form and follow the directions for submitting the form. It's that
easy. The Help Desk will contact you when your new pager is ready.
If you are leaving SLAC or no longer need your pager, please return
it to the helpdesk where it can be re-assigned. Please do not give the
pager to another SLAC employee. |
