Overview

Many phone services provided by this system must be submitted by your ATOM (acronym for Area telecommunications Office Motivator), who is your Telecommunications representative. You do not need to be an ATOM to request phone repairs and residential phone service. The phone services supported by this system are as follows:

Repair Request

Use this form to report problems with your telephone or network problems encountered when dialing from a SLAC extension. Phone repair requests are serviced in the order in which they are received. You can also look up your repair request status.

Residential Phone Request

Use this form to order new ISDN or Analog/Voice phone lines. You can also request disconnects or repairs on residential lines or lines at SLAC that are not connected to SLAC's voice switch. You must have an authorized department charge account to request this service.

Other Phone Services

For services other than phone repairs, ask your ATOM to submit your request for you. Find out who your ATOM is by displaying the ATOM List You can identify your ATOM by building, group or last name.

Note: If you are moving from one group/building to another, you will need
to go through the ATOM at your new office for your phone services.
