    Emergencies

Emergency information including how to call 911, SLAC emergency numbers, and the SLAC Emergency Guide.

Reporting Problems, making Service Requests Etc.

You can request telephone repairs or residential services from the SLAC Phone Service Requests System (SPRS) page where you will also find other telecom information.  Repairs may also be reported directly by submitting a Repair Request or  calling x2200. You will be asked to give your name, extension, building and room number, and the nature of the problem.

Place other telephone and voice mail orders (for example moves, adds, changes) through your ATOM (an acronym for Area Telecommunications Office Motivators), who is your Telecommunications representative.  To find out who your ATOM is, search the SLAC Directory by your family name:   the resulting page will provide information on your ATOM.

The names of current ATOMs and the groups and/or buildings they represent are available from the SPRS page. ATOMS are appointed by their supervisor or group leader. Your ATOM will use various options on the  SPRS page to make your request.

If your listed ATOM is no longer current, send e-mail to phone-admin@slac.stanford.edu.  If you do not have an ATOM or you cannot determine one, send e-mail to phone-admin@slac.stanford.edu.

You can also view the queues and status of  requests from SPRS.

Telecommunications Data* provides information from the database on the configuration of the phone switch and the voice mail system.
