An example
of the problem:
Internet Explorer opens .ps files with Adobe Illustrator, instead of Ghostview.
Solution:
You need to change the file type association for .ps files to start the
Ghostview application.
Internet
Explorer uses the Windows NT file type association with an application (i.e., it
is part of operating system settings we can change, unlike Netscape where it is
part of the web browser application we can change).
In
Windows NT Explorer 'View' Menu -> 'Options' -> 'File Types'
Click on the 'Postscript' file type, press 'Edit'
Click on the next 'Edit' button.
