
Download the client
The Citrix client is available on the Xweb at SLAC, but for users not on the SLAC network, the Citrix web site is the best resource. http://citrix.com/English/SS/downloads/details.asp?dID=2755&downloadID=1339765&pID=186#top When you navigate to the page, you will see Citrix Presentation Server Web Client 10.200. These clients support Windows Vista, XP, 2003 and 2000.
For the Windows machine mention above, you should scroll down select the link which says "Web Client Package (.msi)" which is also available directly from this link.
For Windows users, when you click the link for the file, you will see a security warning:
You can click either Run or Save. When the download is complete, you should click the Run button on this dialog box:
You may see a security warning box which looks like the one below. Click "Run".
The installer will start with this screen:
and will continue to this screen where you must click "Next":
You have to accept the license agreement and click "Next":
You will see this dialog:
You should select the "Program Neighborhood" section and the option for "Entire feature will be unavailable" and then click "Next":
You will see this dialog which uses your machine name as the client name. You can accept the default and click "Next"
On the next dialog box you should make sure the "No" radio button is selected and then click "Next"
The next dialog will show a summary of the options you have selected. Click "Next"
