How to configure the Citrix ICA Program Neighborhood without a Web Browser
- Download the latest ICA Win 32 Client from the Citrix Website.
- Run the downloaded compressed file. Accept the default destination folder from the installation. Select "No" to enable and automatically use your local user name and password for Citrix sessions from the client.

After the software installation, double click on the Citrix Program Neighborhood icon on the desktop.
- Click the Up button in the toolbar locate Find New Application Set icon.
- In the dialog box select Local Area Network if connecting the farm ON-SITE, select Wide Area Network if OFF-SITE.

Click on the Server Location button. Enter the following information in the new dialog box:
TCP/IP in the Network Protocol field
Server Group is Primary
Click Add, then enter slacwtsima01.slac.stanford.edu:8080 and slacwtsima02.slac.stanford.edu:8080.

Click Ok to bring back to the Find New Application Set. Leave "Enter a description for the new Application Set" blank (it will be filled up automatically). In the field below "Click below to locate the Application Set to add:" just click the down arrow at the right of the box to bring up SLACWTSXP and select it.

Click the Next button to configure the color depth. Uncheck "Use Server Default". At a minimum, select 256 colors or choose High Color (16 bit). Please not that the latter must be supported by the Citrix server. The next box is to configure desired Windows Size. Recommended choice is "Percent of Screen Size". Since "Seamless Window" will overlaps with the local desktop. Click Next and the Finish button to complete the configuration.

The SLACWTSXP icon is created in the Citrix Program Neighborhood. Double click to open. Enter Windows username and password; Domain is SLAC. Do not save your password.

A list of published Applications is displayed. Simply choose the Windows Desktop to run by double clicking on it.
