For more than a decade, SLAC has sponsored an annual
Holiday Food Drive to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Santa Clara
and San Mateo counties. Second Harvest is a nationwide organization
dedicated to rallying community resources to assist people who are hungry.
Food drives provide nearly 45 percent of the food the
Second Harvest Food Bank distributes annually. Last year, the SLAC
community donated over 1,076 pounds of food!
Please look for a barrel in your area and donate towards
the drive this year.
