EXO Men and the Neutrino Mass Mystery By Tom Mead
Determining the mass of the neutrino could be a key in the
final formulation of the Unified Field Theory for particle physics, adding
to our understanding of the origins of matter and the eventual fate of the
universe. To help determine the mass of a neutrino, research teams at SLAC
and Stanford University are collaborating to design the Enriched Xenon
Observatory (EXO).
