Herman Winick (SSRL) and Professor Zafra Lerman received the New
York Academy of Sciences 2005 Heinz R. Pagels Human Rights Award in recognition of their effective and tireless work on behalf of dissident scientists throughout the world, particularly in Iran. The award will be presented at the Academy annual meeting in New York on September 29.
