Annual Safety and Security Briefing & Expo on Tuesday, September 20

This briefing for everyone in the SLAC community on Tuesday, September 20, features speakers to discuss the importance of integrating safety and security into all aspects of our work at the Laboratory. Three sessions will be held in Panofsky Auditorium, beginning at 9:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

SLAC’s Integrated Safeguards and Security Management (ISSM) program and the ES&H Integrated Safety Management System (ISMS) have been combined into a single session that deals with supporting world-class research in a safe and secure environment. More information about the Safety and Security Integrated Management program will be available at the Expo in the Auditorium Breezeway.

Subject matter experts will staff tables to answer your questions about counter-intelligence, physical security, computer security, safety and emergency preparedness.

2006 Calendars Available

In addition to providing you with helpful information on many topics, we will be handing out ‘Landscapes of America 2006’ wall calendars and Year-at-a-Glance calendars, plus other items promoting safety and security awareness.

This event is jointly sponsored by BSD, ESH and SCCS. If you have questions, contact Doug Kreitz (Ext. 4550, dougkr@slac.stanford.edu).
